Color Challenge – Week Seven – Red

This week was a tad lacking in the color challenge due to going on vacation ;-) I managed to snap a few while having fun, but they were more out of desperation than inspiration.

Vacation was in Asheville, North Carolina. I managed to snap this while waiting at a stop light. It’s the cheat of the week.

Color Challenge – Week Six – Purple

It seems like everything I own is purple. It was very hard for me to limit myself to just a fraction of the purple objects around me.

Early morning

It’s a rare occurrence that I’m awake in time to see the sunrise. I try to make it a point if I’m at the beach to wake up for one, but that’s the one and only time. This morning I was up so early, I saw the sunrise on my way to work! I saw it peeking up from behind the clouds from a distance and knew I would get a good shot as I crossed over the river.

Just some more of my drive by clickings…one hand on the wheel, the other holding the camera up as I crossed the Manchester Bridge into downtown.

I ended up getting a lot done today going in that early. I think the bright, early, sunny rays of that gorgeous golden sun helped :)
