Just because the calendar said November was over didn’t mean I had to throw my pumpkins away. They were still healthy and pumpkin-y. However, two months, sunshine, snow, and ice later, they are finally starting to deteriorate. I guess it’s time to throw them away now :(
Ahhh! It was the kittens’ first Christmas!
Here they are opening their presents.
As fun as gifts are, the packaging they come in is JUST as fun.
And playing in paper and ribbons is fun too.
They played so hard they pooped themselves out!
Even though the packages are no longer under the tree, the kittens were determined to enjoy the last moments of Christmas, for as long as they possibly could.
Another year, another night of driving around and seeing all of the twinkly, sparkly lights! I decided to check out some of the houses that weren’t maddeningly busy.

2014
Some neighborhoods decided to spread the Christmas cheer by joining together and whole cul-de-sacs decorated their homes.
They are growing up so fast! They still have lots of kitten energy and spunk, but they are starting to look like actual cats.
Neither one was interested in the Thanksgiving turkey, we had to force Misty onto the table for the obligatory “cat sniffing turkey” shot.
But boy oh boy, the kittens have discovered that Christmas is the absolute best time of the year! Between the ornaments, the crunchy stuff on the tree, presents, ribbons, and the tree itself, there is so much to keep them entertained.
